/ About the project
This was about more than making ads. It was about telling the stories of the people behind the clippers — the barbers, stylists, and pros who build careers from the chair. Over the course of a year, Chop & Hue partnered with Wahl to capture their hustle: the early mornings, the late nights, the lessons passed on, the rituals that turn everyday cuts into craft.
Our role wasn’t just to point cameras at tools — it was to bring the people and the culture into focus. We built a campaign that lived across seasons, spanning anthem films, product launches, and social stories that all worked toward one message: Wahl isn’t just about clippers. It’s about the hands that use them, the communities they shape, and the craft they push forward.
For Chop & Hue, it was a year of steady collaboration — designing + managing the initial casting call, social creative, talent bookings, refining visual stories, and creating a body of work that carried momentum month after month. We captured the sweat, the skill, the pride, and the quiet confidence that defines this culture, and shaped it into a campaign that could speak directly to the people making it happen.
